Disney’s The BFG (The Big Friendly Giant) film has been adapted from the famed 1982 children’s book of the same name by Roald Dahl.
I read the book in primary school, along with many other Dahl stories, and I remember being completely captivated by the worlds he created.
Now Steven Spielberg has taken that world and put it onto the big screen, along with a chilling score from John Williams. Seeing this story come to life through stunning images was wonderfully nostalgic and somewhat unbelievable; seeing a story that has been in my head for so long being shown in vivid realness.
I look forward to seeing the full-length film and how the story will show just how giant the world is…
The BFG is in cinemas on June 30.
