Visionary director Nicolas Winding Refn, who gifted us with the much beloved Drive and confounded us with the far less beloved Only God Forgives, is intent on doing who-knows-what to us with his upcoming California noir The Neon Demon.

I say who-knows-what with absolute sincerity because I don’t know what the heck is going on in this trailer. All I can say is that I want every frame of this thing to adorn the walls of my room forever, and that I’m utterly intrigued by the premise – the hallmarks of a great trailer. What is known about the The Neon Demon so far: when aspiring model Jesse moves to Los Angeles, her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty obsessed women who will take any means necessary to get what she has.

Sounds weird and ridiculous, so therefore, I am 100 percent all in with this. How about you guys?

The Neon Demon is set to hit theatres in June and stars Elle Fanning, Keanu Reeves, and Christina Hendricks.
